About the Author

Deirdre Bailey is a wife and mother other living in Dayton, Ohio where she and her husband are restaurant owners and caterers.

She has always loved bringing people together and blessing them with her culinary creations. Her true passion however, is women’s ministry. Her idea of ministry is doing whatever the Lord inspires her hands to do, from crafting to calling to check on someone, to hosting an interdenominational women’s retreat where she prepares all the meals. She is happiest when she is spreading God’s love and encouraging those who are hurting.

Deirdre wholeheartedly believes that 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 applies to her pain, and is willing to go deep and give of herself to the brokenhearted: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

She prays that God will use the life-changing lessons she has learned through her painful journey as a recipe to serve up healing to those who are hurting.
